Stackable Santa!

Howdy High Hopes Peeps!
I'm getting a lot of my Christmas cards done and I just wanted to share with you another cutie! This is "Large Stackable Santa" from High Hopes Stamps!
As soon as I heard the title of this stamp. I knew that I had to actually make the image "stacked". I started with the base "Stackable Santa" and then masked him off with a post-it note. I stamped the middle Santa and then using the same process stamped the 3rd Santa. Now I have a cute pile of "Large Stackable Santas"! I started colouring the bottom Santa and then as I went up I adjusted my colours to create a bit of a "ombré" effect.
Of course I also had to make just a "one" Santa card too as He's just too adorable!
Copics Used:
Bottom Santa: R24, R27, R29/ T5, T7, T9
Middle Santa: R22, R24, R27/ T4, T5, T7
Top Santa:R21, R22, R24/ T1, T3, T5
Skin: E00, E11, E21, R20

Not Even A Moose

T'was a couple months before Christmas and my craft desk is full
of stamps, glitter, cardstock, patterned paper and bling - how bout you?
This week I would like to introduce you to  Stirrin' Milton

I'm not sure why but Milton just cracks me up!!! Maybe it's those knobby knees.......

After choosing my sentiment I had the Twas the night before Christmas poem going through my head so I decided that I would do a peaceful winter night ink blended background for Milton.......he is in his fuzzy bunny slippers after all!
I stamped Milton, coloured him with alcohol markers and hand fussy cut him using cuticle scissors. Some navy blue cardstock and glitter gumdrops finish off this simple card layout.

Winter Wishes!

Howdy!
As I mentioned before, I love Snowmen and it just doesn't get any cuter than the High Hopes "Winter Wishes Snowy" rubber stamp! I love the country feel to this image and the heart surrounding it!
I chose papers from the Echo Park "Tis The Season" 6x6 collection and then coloured my image to match the colour scheme!  I masked off my image, then using some Tuxedo Black and Wedding Dress White Pico Embellisher with a paintbrush I "flicked" some paint splatters around the image. It just adds a fun element to your design!
Copics Used:

Happy Sunday!

I am working on a real cool project with the new release stamps, but it has taken me more time to finish than I thought it would, so..... to be continued.. ;)

In the meantime I've created this simple (but fun!) Christmas card!
I just love these golden oldies stamps and if you search for Santa on the website there are so many Santa (72!!) stamps to choose from!!

For this card I've used Woodland Santa together with the Peace, Love, Joy sentiment.
Together with traditional Green and Red cardstock and some lovely Chrismas dessinpaper.

Well, I'm off working on that project I've mentioned earlier!

Mistletoe Kisses?

Poor Tink! He is looking all charming and adorable but his only Christmas wish has always been to get a kiss under the mistletoe. I even added some freckles to add to his charm but for some reason no one wants to give him a kiss <smile>

Meet Hopeful Tink from High Hopes Rubber Stamps - he is adorable isn't he?! Any skunk lovers out there who will grant Tink's wish?

After colouring this charming skunk with alcohol markers, I cut him out using a stitched oval die. I added some bling to his hat pom pom using Stickles and some clear Spectrum sparkle pen to the mistletoe berries. The sentiment was masked off, stamped and the question mark was added with a black marker. I added this adorableness to some fun patterned paper, added some ribbon and gumdrops to help this cutie get a kiss.

Card Recipe
Stamp: Hopeful Tink - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Sentiment: Candy Cane and Mistletoe - High Hopes Rubber Stamps
Patterned Paper: A Very Merry Christmas - Carta Bella
Tuxedo Black Memento ink, Misti, Icicle Stickles, Black Marker, stitched oval die - YNS, ribbon stash, retro gumdrops - YNS

Spectrum Noir Markers: BG5 BG7 BG10 PP2 AB1 AB2 AB3 AG1 AG3 AG5 CR7 CR11 DR6 IG1

Waddlin' By with Winter Wonderland Background

Howdy - MichelleO here and we had our first cool front here in Texas. Ok... so it will still be in the high 80's later in the week, but hey one front means another will be coming and then it will be winter. And winter is bling-y to me. Snow sparkles right.. ok in my little made up world I see snow sparkle we don't see much of the real stuff here.

This is "Waddlin' By" along with the "Winter Wonderland Background"

Had so much gorgeous image here I didn't want any pattern paper with this one. The Background stamp is it. Love how beautiful this stamp is. I colored with my copics (colors below) and then but some white on the trees with a Marvy Snow Marker, then added lots of Viva Decor Sparkle Pen! Lots of Sparkle Bling!! I pop dotted the fun little penguin on the background stamp.

I sewed down the image on a white card stock and then created an easel card out of purple card stock.

I doodled some swirls and snowflakes on my base card stock and then matched it up with the High Hopes Stamps sentiment "Waddling by with a winter Hi!" Love that! Always makes me grin.  I added three enamel dots to help stand up my easel card.

Close up of the bling snow!

This is such a fun little image and I hope it brings a smile to someone :0)
Have a wonderful day -

Snowy Tags

Howdy - MichelleO here today and after a long stressful week it is nice to sit down at my craft desk, catch up on my favorite tv shows that I recorded on my DVR and color just to color. And if I am going to color something repetitive I might as well make lots of much needed tags for my Christmas Gifts! Why would you buy tags if you can have original cute hand colored tags? I love these tags! And High Hopes Stamps has them for lots of holidays and celebrations see them HERE

This is "Snowy Tag" isn't he just adorable??

I colored with my Copics, and then cut out. I love them. Stick them down to your gift, punch a hole and hang them from a gift bag. Which ever they make any gift even more special!

Copic colors used -

Really loved coloring up these tags and have a bunch more stamped out for more coloring and I will be ready for Christmas!

Thanks so much for looking!

Snow!

Hi HH Fans!
Well another Christmas card off my list to make LOL! I'm sharing the adorable stamp from High Hopes Stamps called "Snow". I love anything Snowmen, so this stamp is perfect for my love of them!
I am using an older 6x6 collection from Bo Bunny Called "Powder Mountain". I love Blue and silver for Christmas! I was at a crop recently where I got to meet Kathy Racoosin from The Daily Marker and one of her tips or techniques is to do a darker "halo" around your image. I was a bit scared to try this but I must honestly say I like how it turned out! I tried one using the "W" and the "C" Copics.
I went a bit crazy and added Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White all around my image to make it look like it is snowing.
I also added some YNS Gumdrops in the corners of my card in matching colours to finish it all off.
On the inside I chose to use the sentiment from High Hopes called "Dot Snowmen Melt"
Copics Used:
C0, C1, C2, C5,  YR04, YR07, W0, W1, W5
B21, B23, B24, B26, E41, E42, E43

My card is perfect for the current Challenge Called "Christmas/ Winter Fun" over on the High Hopes Blog. I hope you'll play along and join us!

Happy Stamping!
