buttonnowship
So what do you think about the new release?!!
I can't wait to work with some of these stamps.

As a reminder, the Blog Hop for the new release runs through Sept 5th so if you haven't had the chance to check out the hop, you still have a little time.

Oh, and by the way, the new release is Now Shipping!!

This cutie pair is called Pengium Love SS003. The sentiment is Dot Warm Winter Wishes H257.
It's not a new sentiment but thought it worked with this stamp.

I did another Zig Zag/Center Step Card. You can find the tutorial for it here.

I used a banner die with Glitter Card Stock, some pearls, flowers, Liquid Applique on the "fur" and lots of stickler on the ice and around the image.

The image was embossed in black onto watercolor paper and watercolored with Twinkling H2Os...

H2Os used:
Olive Vine, Cinnamon, Orange Peal, Blue Grass, and Bashful Blue
(black done with Copic)

Happy stamping!

Witchy Ride With A Twist

                               Happy Thursday High Hopes Fans!

I hope you have had a chance to participate in the new release  blog hop - it started on Sept 1 and goes through until Sept. 5. So many awesome cards and inspiration brought to you by the High Hopes and OCS design teams.  Don't forget to leave a comment by Sept. 5th for your chance to win! You can find the hop here.

Today I am happy to introduce you to Witchy Ride (found here) from the new Joys of the Season release, and an older stamp named Bat (found here)

How cute is this witch !?!?

I made a standard easel card with a twist. The twist is an LED tea light behind the moon to light it up. I saw a tutorial (here scroll down) awhile ago and when I saw this stamp I knew it was the perfect stamp to try this idea with.

Without the Light

I started by making my easel card and cutting out the moon with a circle die. I pounced the moon with a little bit of yellow ink to add a bit of colour to it. I coloured my stamps with alcohol markers (list below) and fussy cut them. After picking a font for my sentiment I printed it and mounted it on cardstock. The broom and bats were added and the card is finished off with orange and black gumdrops.

This is the inside of the card which is the main attraction! The vampire folds down when the card is closed!!
Here's a little close up :)

Pumpkin Buddies

MichelleO here ... Did you visit the High Hopes Blog Hop yesterday? Oh my so much inspiration and so fun to see all the DT's work with the new release images. Well I am back today to show off another new release. How can you not love a Fall image with a doggie and a kitty? Then for that fall Boo a bat flying by.

This is "Pumpkin Buddies"

I colored with my Copics ( colors below )  and paired the image up with some papers from DCWV Holiday papers. Had to use some orange card stock for mats though... just had to make that pumpkin pop right? I sewed all the layers together with both straight and zig zag stitches. My sentiment "Happy Fall Y'all" works with so many images and is great to have for any type of card. For embellishment I punched some leaves with Martha Stewart leaf punch then shaded them with my copics.

The Copic colors used -

There are SO many wonderful new image in this release at High Hopes Stamps. You really need to pop over to website and see all the fun. And also do make sure to hop along the Hopes Blog Hop... leave those comments and who knows you might just get some new High Hopes to play with as a prize!

September Challenge -- Christmas/Halloween/Fall and Blog Hop

September 1st is here; the children will be back in school next week and we have a new challenge here at High Hopes Rubber Stamps as well as some exciting news.  The challenge theme is Christmas/Halloween/Fall.

First of the winner from our July challenge Janine B is this month's guest designer and here is her card using Motorin By Santa which was coloured with Copics, after being stamped with Memento Ink.  All the papers are from her Christmas scraps.  The layout is SC552 from Splitcoaststampers, but without a sentiment.  Embossing folders from Sizzix and Cuttlebug were used along with Spellbinders circle dies.

Now for the exciting news.  The newest release of High Hopes Rubber Stamps is hot off the press and ready to go.

To help celebrate this newest release of our "Joys of Seasons" release the gals from both the High Hopes and OCS Design Teams are hosting a Blog Hop from the 1st to the 5th of this month and a winner/winners will be chosen on the 7th.  Make sure you visit each gal to see what new release they have on their blog and then go back to the challenge posts and leave a comment on the OCS or High Hopes blogs.

Stork with Baby Dragon

Hello High Hopes Fans

It's an AWESOME Saturday here, and time to share another one of my High Hopes Stamp cards for this week!!!
Lisa

This is Stork with Baby Dragon (S223) and Welcome Little One Script (F239) sentiment.  Such an adorable stamp - I think it makes for a great baby card!

I started by stamping the image and sentiment with a Versamark Ink Pad and sprinkling some Black Embossing Powder on and heating it.  The Tombow Markers I used to colour the image were:  925, N35, N75, 850, N95, 990, 985, 192, 723, and 800.  Once the image was all coloured and dry, I proceeded to die cut the oval shape using a Spellbinders Die called Petite Ovals.  The larger Petite Ovals die was used with Grey Cardstock to cut a slightly larger oval for layering the image. Foam tape was applied to pop out the layered image and sentiment for some added dimension on this card.  The designer paper is from Echo Park-Bundle of Joy 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some SU Grey, Pink and White cardstock.  The Heart Banner die is from La-La Land.  It was used with Grey and Pink Cardstock. To complete this card, a Viva D├ęcor - Black Pearl Pen was also used to add a couple of bunches of dots around the oval cut image.

Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!
