Hog Wash

Happy Summer Thursday Fans!

My post today features an older stamp from High Hopes called "Good Clean Fun" and the Hog Wash sentiment also from High Hopes.

Pigs love mud especially on a hot summer day! I added some "mud" to two of these little cuties when I was colouring the image.

My image is coloured with alcohol markers and cut out with a stitched rectangles die. I challenged myself to use some of my scraps and smaller pieces from an Echo Park paper pad as well as some paper from my stash. Fishtail banner dies were the perfect die for cutting these out.  A piece of pink paper run through an embossing folder gave me the perfect background for this very pink card! lol

Lil' Swinger

Howdy - MichelleO here today for my Wednesday post -

This week for High Hopes I went with one of the new images "Lil' Swinger"

She just makes me smile... I feel a cool breeze and enjoy the swing with her.

She is too precious, I colored her with my Copics (colors below) and then sewed her down to some papers from Papermania Lucy Cromwell collection. I sewed all the layers with straight and zig zag stitches. I then added the great High Hopes Sentiment "Just Because"  This is one of my favorite new sentiments, I use it on many of my cards. Great for any card just to send a smile.

I then added a X-Large Martha Stewart Leaf punch with some little punched flowers. Simple but I like it.

Copic colors used -

Lots of great new images to play with - You can see them all HERE -

My Hero -- High Hopes Stamps

Hi there! I've been having fun with a little fishing scene created with High Hopes Stamps!
The card is made on an easel  card base and the design was extended to the bottom panel for a 3D effect.   The image is stitched and coloured with Copics along with some fishy brads and balsam wood for the sentiment.

These stamps make truly make it easy to create a "guy" card  design:)

Thanks for peeking!

Rock On

Hello!  Kristine here with my Tuesday post.

I have had this patterned paper in my stash forever!

I am not even sure why I bought it  but I must have had an idea in my head at the time....this might explain some of my paper hoarding problem?

Anyway, I was very excited to get the new Rocking Out Stamp from High Hopes Stamps because I knew it would go great with this paper that has a drum set on it!

I colored the image with my Prisma Colored pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.

Oh...and the paper....It's Crate paper.
I kept the rest of the design pretty simple because it's a boy card so I didn't want it too fussy.

I used the Sizzix Large Square stand up card die for the card base so you can open it and have it stamd up to display.

The inside sentiment is Rock on.

Happy Birthday Canada!

Hi High Hope Fans!
This Friday is Canada Day for all us Canadians! When I saw this stamp from High Hopes Stamps called "Canadian Friends" I knew it would make a perfect card to celebrate our country! I think I will use it as part of my centrepiece for our Canada BBQ at the cottage!
I made the card base using a red piece of cardstock and my Silhouette Electronic Cutting machine. I popped up the "Canadian Friends"and the sentiment with foam squares for some added dimension. A handwritten Happy Birthday stamp and a few Maple leaves finished off my card. I also used my Silhouette to cut around my image and sentiment.

Copics Used:
Skin: E00, E11, E21, R20
Mountie: R35, R37, R39 / N5, N7, N9 / Y35, Y38 / E53, E55, E57
Beaver: E43, E44, E47, E49
Moose: E55, E57, E59

To all my Canadian friends and followers..... I hope you have a great Canada Day weekend! I will certainly be enjoying the Fireworks, one of my favourite things about this long weekend!
Happy Stamping!

Puppy Love!!!

Carolina here,
Good Morning and welcome High Hopes Fans!

For today's post I'm using "Puppy Love" from High Hopes Stamps,
an adorable stamp from their latest release!

I stamped "Puppy Love" with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with alcohol markers.
 Copic List: Girl B93 B95 R11 YR02 E000 E00 V000 E11 E25 E25 0 Puppy W1 W3 W5 W7
After my image was all coloured I fussy cut it. I used a white gelly roll pen and add some hast*tag on her skirt. For the background, I sponged the white cardstock with Distress ink and embossed with a polka-dots folder. I raise the main panel and the little girl with foam tape, to give my card a little bit of height.

To finished my card I added glossy accent on her and fussy cut some flowers from "Fancy That"  paper pat. I decorated the tiny flowers with Diamond Stickles.

Rainy Day Ducky

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

Happy Saturday Friends!  I sure hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful and warm weather this weekend.  We sure could use a bit of rain though!

For today's post, I am sharing an older yet ever so cute image...
 Lisa

This is Rainy Day Ducky (R142) and Fancy Script Happy Birthday Sentiment (HH019).  This image could be used for a variety of different occasions - for example: a baby, get well soon or Spring themed card.

The image was stamped on watercolor cardstock with a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad using my Misti Stamping Tool.  Tombow markers and water were used to colour the image.  After the image was all coloured and dry, Glossy Accents was applied on the puddle.  This added the extra shine to make it appear like water.

For the card base, I chose some SU Lavender Lace cardstock and Imagine Crafts Vertigo-Prism Texture Film.  The designer paper is from Doodlebug - Under the Sea 6x6 Paper Pad.  No foam tape was used on this card to allow the card to remain fairly flat for mailing purposes.

To complete this card, a Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped and purple enamel dots were added for a finishing touch to this simple, yet adorable card.

Supplies Used:
Ink - Tombow Markers - 452, 856, N15, N45, N95, 723, 933, 743, 373, 985, 126, 905, 606 and 603.  Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.

MiscMisti Stamping ToolGlossy Accents, Queen & Co.-purple enamel dots, Water brush and Glue Dots.

Thanks for stopping by!  And be sure to stop by again soon for more ideas and inspiration!!!
